Just a little client update for you! Mr Tearle Ashby has just published a segment of the previously-mentioned promotional video which was filmed back in October. Special thanks to Cooper Nelson of WRGB news for manning the cameras and directing the segment! The video also features illustrious guitarist Carm Grasso and myself and discusses some of the process behind the concepts for the album, some of the recording/mix process and the logistics of putting it all together. Further more, as of this week, “I’m Not The One” from said record has been garnering airplay in regular rotation on local independent radio station, WEXT, Exit 97.7. Thanks to those folks for picking it up! Lastly you can see the promotional video just below and grab your copy on iTunes, Amazon Music, and/or preview the entire record streaming on Sound Cloud!

Just wanted to drop a quick line on here to help announce availability of my client, Tearle Ashby‘s new record Simpatico, which I had the honour of mixing this past winter/spring, 2015! Some of the basic tracks (mostly drums) were cut at Modern Day Music, located in Clifton Park, NY and Tearle dubbed the rest between himself and his guitar-slinging friend, Carm Grasso.
Last, but absolutely not least, mastering was handled by none other than Andy VanDette (ex-chief engineer of Masterdisk, current senior engineer at Engine Room Audio).
A promo video for the record is currently in post-production as well, and I’ll keep you posted as I learn more on its status, but in the mean time, please consider placing a pre-order on this record via the iTunes Store.

Happy Friday, folks!
I’m pleased to share with you, the first live-performance video I’ve made to showcase the upcoming (tentatively titled) “Psalm Songs” record I’m engineering and mixing for Pastor Scott Lumley of the Calvary Capital District.
I’m planning to create a couple more of these solo performance videos as promotional material for the project, however drums and bass will be dubbed at a later date over slightly different versions of these performances. I plan to film most of that process as well to make similar multimedia product for my YouTube Channel, so keep an eye out for that some time after the approaching holidays!
I hope you all enjoy and thanks for reading!
‘Til next time,

This week is a little off-the-wall for me, as I’ve just begun tracking for Pastor Scott Lumley’s (Calvary Capital District) latest studio effort, tentatively titled “Psalm Songs.” Vocals and guitars are dubbed and some video footage with mixes will be posted online at a later date, but next up, we will be dubbing drums and bass soon after the holiday season. This is a bitter-sweet record for the congregation and members of this church, as it marks the departure of Pastor Scott as he returns home to his roots in New Mexico this month.
Secondly, I will have the honour of working with a local news anchor on some commercial VO beginning this coming Saturday at Working Pictures, Inc. They’re a great facility and staff who specialise in video work, but are just now branching out into dedicated audio applications and I’m very pleased to have been invited onboard to be a part of this venture.
Additionally, I hope to have my newly-designed website up and running shortly. Bear with me during this transition.
Until next time, thanks for reading!

I’m finally getting things in order with a brand new website design, this new blog and few other aspects of my internet presence put together.
First and foremost, I recently completed mixing duties for Tearle Ashby (Ballston Lake, NY) for whom a promotional video was recently shot and is now being edited, with the hopes of using it as a fundraiser to allow him to get a couple runs of nicely-packaged CD’s printed. Keep an eye on his website for updates pertaining to a forthcoming album release, etc. If you’re into 70s/80s prog rock, you’ll definitely take a liking to a majority of the material on the record! It was also mastered by none other than Andy VanDette whose resume boasts the biggest names in the modern music biz!
Secondly, I’ve just begun mix duties of a local (Albany, NY) band called Tribal Soul. Be sure to check in with them on their FaceBook page as well; it’s pretty ass-kicking metal with some nice groove to it (FFDP fans in particular should dig it!).
Lastly, I’ve just signed on to engineer/mix 6 new songs for Pastor Scott Lumley’s next record. More on that as the initial tracking dates approach!
I am also, in the mean time, putting together further production tutorials and other video content for my Danymal Sound YouTube Channel channel!
Please feel free to join the conversation and I’ll catch you next time!
